Moody’s affirmed Bashkiria credit rating
The long-term credit rating of Bashkortostan was confirmed at the “Ba2” level with a positive outlook. This decision was made by the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service.
According to the agency analysts, the rating of Bashkortostan reflects high liquidity ratios, low debt burden, conservative fiscal policy, as well as sustainable economic development.
Currently, Bashkortostan has a credit rating at the same level as Tatarstan, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District and the Moscow Region, the department informs.
Moody’s Investors Service is an international rating agency. It is engaged in the assignment of credit ratings, research and risk analysis. Moody's, along with Standard & Poor’s and Fitch Ratings, is among the “big three” international rating agencies.
