Fitch Ratings has upgraded the outlook for the rating of the Bashkortostan
The long-term credit rating of the Republic of Bashkortostan is confirmed at the level of "BBB-", the forecast was changed from "Stable" to "Positive". This decision was made on June 1, 2018 by the international rating agency Fitch Ratings.
According to analysts of the agency, high performance indicators, low debt burden, balanced budget policy, and sustainable economic development are positive factors that influence the forecast's change.
Thus, to date, the Republic of Bashkortostan has a credit rating at the same level as the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tyumen Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
