Bashkortostan ranked first among Russia regions in business activity index
Bashkortostan ranked first among Russian regions in the index of business activity of small and medium-sized businesses. This was announced by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov at a plenary session of the Russian Industrial Forum.
The Head of the Region announced results of an analysis of the business activity level in the segment of small and medium-sized businesses in the 4th quarter of 2017, conducted by the All-Russian public organization "Opora Russia". Bashkortostan ranked first among the 24 surveyed regions with a business activity index of 60.7 points, with an average Russian value of 50.5 points.
“The Republic of Bashkortostan takes the first place in the country by the business activity index,” noted Rustem Khamitov. “It inspires great optimism. So make business with us, make business here.”
At the plenary session, scientists, heads of Russian institutes for industrial development, as well as industry associations, spoke about the results of various studies on assessment of factors affecting the domestic economy. Among them there were investment process stimulation, active introduction of innovative technologies, protecting policy of domestic producers of goods.
The forum participants got acquainted with activities of the Russian Export Center and its methodological and consulting support, modern trends in the standardization of industrial products, import substitution policies. Possibilities of organizing a number of industries in the country, in particular, raw materials production for the chemical industry, were considered. Bashkortostan was named one of the promising areas.
