Bashkortostan delegation went to Japan to study lean production
Representatives of Bashkortostan were included in a large delegation of the Russian Federation, which arrived in Tokyo to study the world experience in increasing labor productivity. The republic is represented by the heads of the Ministry of Industry and Economic Development Alexey Karpukhin and Sergei Novikov.
It was in Japan in the 1950-s that lean production or "lean manufacturing" appeared at Toyota plants, a concept based on elimination of all types of losses, which provides a huge increase in productivity.
The Russian Federation delegation will take over the experience in the machine building company DMG MORI, which produces metalworking machines and has a status of the Russian manufacturer, and in Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which manufactures transport equipment and industrial robots.
