Forum on Small Business of SCO and BRICS Regions opened in Ufa
The capital of Bashkortostan hosts the Third Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Regions. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, the Governor of the Omsk region Viktor Nazarov, the Special Presidential Envoy of the Russian Federation for the SCO affairs Bakhtiyor Khakimov, representatives of the regions of the SCO and BRICS countries, relevant ministries, official delegations, representatives of companies from the near and far abroad countries, experts and business structures participate in it, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
The main event of the forum will be a plenary session dedicated to the peculiarities and role of small business in the economies of the regions of the SCO and BRICS countries. Delegates will assess the role of small businesses in the economies of different countries, and also analyze measures to stimulate small business development in Russia and the SCO and BRICS countries.
Within two days — September 28 and 29 — several thematic venues devoted to the conditions of barrier-free cooperation in the SCO and BRICS environment, financial, legal and infrastructural support of small business, strengthening the positions of export-oriented events will operate in the capital of Bashkortostan.
In addition, the forum will feature an exhibition and a business contacts exchange, advisory platforms for business development institutions, an international track “Business Without Borders”, a presentation platform for delegations and individual participants. Due to this initiative, small businesses will be able to find promptly partners interested in cooperation, negotiate and conclude prospective contracts.
The forum will end with a final plenary session where the reports of the moderators of the thematic venues will be heard and the proposals will be discussed in the forum resolution.
