Russian Energy Minister opened solar power plant in Bashkortostan
In Kuyurgazy District of Bashkortostan the second stage of Bugulchanskaya solar power plant was launched. It was opened remotely by the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, who arrived in Ufa at the Russian Energy Forum.
The first stage of Bugulchanskaya solar power plant was put into operation in December last year. Today the second stage of 5 MW started operating. By the end of the year it is scheduled to commission the third stage, after which the power plant will reach its full capacity — 15 MW.
Two thirds of the equipment used in the construction of the plant are produced by the Russian enterprises of electrical and metal industry.
The facility investor is "Avelar Solar Technology" LLC, which is a subsidiary of the Hevel company (joint venture of "Renova" company and JSC "RUSNANO").
The Bugulchanskaya SPP is a part of the solar power plants network, which the Hevel company plans to build in Bashkortostan in the coming years.
As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the Novocheboksarskiy factory producing solar modules by Hevel company has completed shipment of equipment for the second stage of the Buribaevskaya solar power plant in Haybullino region of Bashkortostan. The total capacity of the solar power plant in this region of the republic will be 20 MW.
From June to September this year over 80 thousand solar modules were delivered at the object under construction in Buribaevo. The new power plant will be put into operation in late November. The construction of the first stage of 10 MW Buribaevskaya SPP was completed in October last year. In March this year, the plant entered the wholesale market of electricity.
"Total Hevel company will build eight solar generation facilities with overall capacity of 64 MW in Bashkortostan. The total volume of investments will exceed 6 billion rubles", said the CEO of Hevel company Igor Shahrai.
