Bashkortostan Government discussed cooperation prospects with Vietnam
The Government of Bashkortostan held a meeting of the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov with the Consul General of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg Vu Huy Myng. The event was also attended by the Minister of Economic Development RB Sergey Novikov.
During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of mutual cooperation in the sphere of trade, engineering, oil and gas industry, energy, tourism, science and education.
Currently, Vietnam is one of the foreign trade partners of Bashkortostan. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan, the major share of turnover is the export of chemical products.
As of January this year, 26 enterprises engaged in trade, catering, cargo transportation, food production, plastic and textile products production with the participation of companies from Vietnam operate in the territory of Bashkortostan.
