Agreement is signed on conducting KHL All-Star Game -2017 in Ufa
On May 5 in Ufa Congress Hall as part of the "Hockey in our Hearts" sports festival an agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Kontinental Hockey League and the Salavat Yulaev hockey club to hold the KHL All-Star Game-2017 in Ufa.
The document was signed by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, KHL President Dmitry Chernyshenko and CEO of HC "Salavat Yulaev" Valery Nurgutdinov. The agreement on cooperation in organizing and conducting the All-Star Game contains a number of provisions and obligations, the execution of which will allow carrying out one of the main events of the season at the highest organizational level.
According to Dmitry Chernyshenko the hockey is paid great attention in the republic. This results in successful game of HC Salavat Yulaev, which won the KHL bronze, silver medal of the women's team HC Agidel in Women's Hockey League Championship and a victory of HC Miner (Uchaly) in the Junior Hockey League Championships.
The Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game is an annual celebration featuring the best players playing in the championship of the Kontinental Hockey League, which were selected by fans, journalists and the leadership of the League. The ninth All-Star Game will be held in January 2017 at the "Ufa-Arena".
The decision to grant Ufa the right to host the All-Star Game was taken after studying the bids received from four candidate cities, which included Astana, Vladivostok and Togliatti, and the fans voting on the official website of the KHL. The capital of Bashkortostan became the seventh in the history and the second "oriental" city that won the right to host the main show of the KHL.
